La CaixaForum is situated in the Montjuic mountain in a modernist building designed by the architect Puig i Cadafalc in the 20th century. The building has 3 floors and covers 12.000 m² and 2,500 m² are dedicated to 4 exhibitions areas. Since 2002, this museum has had a social, cultural and educative goal and nowadays, la CaixaForum is the most dynamic and active place concerning classical, modern and contemporary art. The contemporary art collection of “la Caixa” fundation is even one of the most important of Spain. La CaixaForum hosts also numerous different cultural events as concerts, cinematographic projections, debates, art shows, literature meetings and you can be part of some familiar activity organized by the organism.

Palau de la Musica is a concert hall designed by the architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner between 1905 and 1908. It has been built for the Catalan orchestra Orfeó Català. 
The Maritime Museum of Barcelona is the property of the Government of Barcelona. You can find it just at the bottom of Las Ramblas, close to the Colombus monument. If you are for the first time in Barcelona this is the museum where you should go first.
