In 1975, the Fundació Joan Miró opened on Montjuïc in Barcelona. There is one of the largest collections of the artist and you can marvel at 200 pictures, 150 sculptures, 5,000 drawings and a series of tapestries and graphic works.
Here you can take the opportunity to understand his artistic development. Some of his best and most famous works are in this museum such as "The road in Pedralbes (1917)," Portrait of a Girl "(1919)," man and woman in front of a pile of excrement "(1935)," Morning Star '( 1940) and "Barcelona" (1944).
