The Archaeological Museum of Catalonia (Museu d’Arqueologia de Catalunya, MAC) is a museum aims at preserve, research and diffuse archaeological remains which illustrate historical evolution from prehistory to the Middle Age. There are different museums like that in Catalonia but the one of Barcelona is focused on the evolution that shapes the present territory of Catalonia from the first men up to the beginning of the middle age. You need at least 1h30 to discover all the collections of the museum and after you can visit the exhibitions of the museum.
