Parc de Pla de Fornells is located on the Colleserola hill and is constituted of an area of
2.5 hectares. It is in the Nou Barris district of Barcelona and has a large forested area
but with a very modern layout.

Parks

The Jardins de Tres Xemeneies is located on the area where the old electrical plant of
Barcelona Traction, Light and Power company used to be (known as La Canadenca). It includes industrial
architecture from the end of 19th and beginning of the 20th century. Around the park
you find other features from this era such as fragments of machinery from the electrical
plant etc. which has not been transformed into sculptures.

Parc del Mirador del Poble Sec is located in the Sants-Montjuic district of Barcelona.
It is around 3 heactares and is a part of the side of the Montjuic mountain. It has
a appearance like a forest park and in the same time as an urban park.

This park is a wonderful green space in the middle of the Nou Barris district and has a lot more to offer than just green areas. It is a park, square and promenade and it also houses the wonderful weekly local market for Canyelles (Metro stop Canyelles), the neighbourhood it is located in. The park itself has a variety of great and shady resting places to offer due to its lavish vegetation and this makes it a perfect place for visitors to relax outside surrounded by nature. Also, there is some great art to be admired in the park, especially the Manuel de Falla fountain that has been designed by Pedro Barragan in 1994 and that is a large rectangular platform that rises 20 m high into the air and that offers a spectacular light, water and sound show that make this fountain a magical one that is not to be missed.
Overall, the variety of the Parc de Josep Maria Serra Martí is a wonderful park to visit if you want to get some rest outside or if you are looking for a place to socialize with other people.
