Located in a hospital complex in the Les Corts district of Barcelona, the gardens of Maternitat was created in order to give the
area a peaceful atmosphere where the visitors can relax. The hospital complex itself was
built in the end of the 19th century and during the years the gardens were constructed to
make the area more agreeable.
The garden has a total of 7.68 hectares, and includes two play areas for children. It
has several benches in the area where you can sit and relax and read a good book. Since
there are not many visitors to this park, it gives you the possibility to enjoy the
time there.
