The Font Florida park is one of many parks in Barcelona, which was created quite late in comparison to many of the other ones. The park was created during the 1990s and is located in a residential area giving natural spaces for the residents to enjoy. The park is also perfect as a play area for children considering that it is surrounded
with residential houses.
The Font Florida park is located between the city center and the Montjuic Mountain and has a area of almost 3 hectares giving the park a very spacious sense. It is in a form of a half-moon with two entrances to the center of the park. A part of the park is dedicated to lawn bowlers which many pitches to practice the game on. Another part of the park has beautiful jacaranda trees which blossom incredibly in summertime with amazing
blue flowers.
