The Parc de Sant Martí is not a typical urban park that tries to cater for the needs of masses; rather it is a neighbourhood garden that residents take advantage of to socialize, keep updated about what is going on in the area and to just hangout either in the sun or in the shade, as the garden offers plenty of both to its visitors.
Due to the long construction period of 10 years with its different stages, the park has many different aspects to it.
The largest and most distinct element of the park is the irregular triangle that is made up by large trees and a grassy area in between.
Another very unique aspect of the park is the part we reach when entering from Carrer de l'Agricultura. We will find Sant Martí parish church as well as many other well-preserved historical buildings: there are three typical Catalan farmhouses (masies) - Can Cadena, Can Planas and Ca l'Arnó.
