The Parc del Port Olímpic was part of the renovation that took place for the Olympic
Games of 1992. The area was rebuilt and together with four other parks in the area, they
were constructed on the old industrial land of Poblenou.
The park contains almost 3 hectares of land and has a beautiful green area that advances
towards the sea and gives great sea view to the visitors. It includes rest area with benches, play area for children,
table tennis tables and beautiful vegetation throughout the whole area. In the park
you can find a bronze figure of Cobi, the maskot of the Olympic Games 1992, which was
created by the designer Xavier Mariscal.
